PARIS – May 28, 2026 – Focus Entertainment and New World Interactive are thrilled to announce the launch of a new content update for Insurgency: Sandstorm with Update 1.21, “Operation: Breachpoint.” Watch the launch trailer now to discover all the new content available to experience!
Available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, the Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store, today’s Operation brings a new free map, new free pistols and additional patches. Newly added premium cosmetic DLC sets are also available in the 4-Year Anniversary Edition and Year 4 Pass, as well as for individual purchase.
FREE CONTENT INCLUDED IN OPERATION: BREACHPOINT
With Operation: Breachpoint, all players can enjoy a new free map as well as two new pistols: the Fowler Vanta 9 for Security and TK-33 for Insurgents.
In the new “Hold” map, Insurgents have violently seized a police station and jail complex to break out their comrades and loot gear, creating the perfect ground for close-quarters combat. Responding Special Forces are now laying siege to the multi-level facility, fighting room-to-room to rescue hostages and reclaim control.
