October 22, 2026 – Indie developer Dark Jay Studio has announced that The Cursed Update, the latest major update for Arms of God, will launch on Saturday, October 24, 2026, bringing new endgame content, gameplay mechanics, enemies, and challenges.
What’s New in The Cursed Update?
- New Desert Expedition – Explore 10 new, longer levels across ancient desert ruins, uncovering the mystery of the Book of Judgments.
- 115 New Curses – Negative modifiers that introduce new challenges and alter various aspects of gameplay, affecting everything from the character’s abilities to enemy behavior.
- Elite Enemies – Stronger, deadlier variants of existing enemies, appearing on higher difficulty levels.
- New Boss and Enemy – Face Ophaniel, a powerful new boss, and the laser-wielding Dreadseer.
To celebrate the release, Arms of God will also be available at 20% off on Steam, its lowest price ever.
Additionally, the ARMS OF GOD – Complete Edition, which includes the base game, OST, and Supporter Pack DLC, will be featured in Fanatical’s Build Your Own Legendary Bundle, starting October 22, 2026.
The Cursed Update aims to breathe new life into the endgame, encouraging players to experiment with different builds and strategies while keeping even veteran Templars on their toes.
