Get Early Access to “Gears of War: Judgment” OverRun Mode when you Pre-Order at GameStop

GameStop, Microsoft and Epic Games are thrilled to announce that “Gears of War” fans across the United States will be able to join the fight against the Locust Horde early through the signature new multiplayer mode in “Gears of War: Judgment,” OverRun. Early access on Xbox LIVE begins March 15 exclusively to GameStop PowerUp Rewards™ members who preorder “Judgment” online or at any GameStop location nationwide, and the demo will be accessible to all Xbox LIVE Gold members worldwide once the game launches on March 19.*

The “early access” experience for PowerUp Rewards members who preorder at GameStop will be available from Friday, March 15 at 11:59 p.m. PT to Monday, March 18 at 11:59 p.m. PT. This offer also applies retroactively to members who have previously preordered the game at GameStop.

As an added bonus, multiplayer experience points (XP) earned will carry over to the final game for players who purchase and play “Judgment” in the first week following its U.S. release, allowing them to get a jump on the competition and begin unlocking special rewards, like new  weapon skins, medals and achievements.

Painkiller HD receives first Multiplayer DLC called Medieval Horror

Nordic Games is excited to announce that ‘Medieval Horror’, the first multiplayer DLC pack for Painkiller Hell & Damnation, is out today for Windows PC.

Players now need to fight even harder to break Daniel Garner through the infernal gates of hell. The DLC pack introduces new epic boss battles against the White Demon and Assassin Greed who was named in remembrance of an assassin, John P. Greed.

The Medieval Horror multiplayer pack expands on Survival mode – players can now progress through a map in the same way they would in campaign mode while playing co-op. Fiends can now be destroyed using new environmental weapons in scenes of horrific demon slaying.

“We wanted to intensify the hellish experience for players and the Medieval pack certainly does that,” said Reinhard Pollice, Business and Product Development at Nordic Games. “The PC fans cannot get enough of the pain and are always asking us for more , so we wanted to give them exactly what they want.”

Painkiller Hell & Damnation was released for PC on October 31st 2012. The campaign features an all-action crusade that can be played in single player mode, co-operative mode across four chapters, and several multiplayer-modes. A vast array of demons and fiends will be encountered along the way.

The Tyranny of King Washington is about to begin in Assassin’s Creed III

ThunderSnow Media, Inc., an independent game development and media production company, announced today that it plans to release its first free-to-play, episodic time travel adventure game The Time Tribe in February 2013. The Time Tribe will be playable via Flash Browsers on any PC with a tablet version following shortly after.

The Time Tribe is the epic story of four kids who learn they are members of a secretive group called Time Tribe, which centers around a wily bird, a devious enemy, a mysterious manor house, a magical timekey, and a most peculiar elevator. The game is an episodic point-and-click adventure game that leads players through a virtual world filled with quirky characters, amazing artifacts, mysteries, puzzles, and minigames. E-comics and mini fiction round out the story, promising to keep players entertained and begging for more.

War of the Roses Expands Roster with New Scottish Mercenaries

With more knights falling in battle every day in War of the Roses, the online medieval battle game from Paradox Interactive, there is a pressing need to bolster the feuding armies of Lancaster and York. Paradox has released a new update to War of the Roses which adds new armor and weapons to the game, designed in the style of Scottish mercenaries from the middle ages. The “Gallowglass Mercenary Pack” has been released forWar of the Roses today, and can be downloaded as a free content update.

Covered in mail and ready to cut down Englishmen for cold hard coin, the Scottish Gallowglass mercenaries brought brute force and fighting spirit to the battlefields like none could.
