Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX interactive entertainment products in the Americas, today announced Quantum Conundrum, the newest game from PORTAL co-creator Kim Swift and developer Airtight Games, is now available on the PlayStation Network for $14.99. Quantum Conundrum will also be available for Xbox LIVE Arcade tomorrow, July 11, for 1200 MS points. Themes and avatars are available today for PlayStation®Network, and an Xbox LIVE Arcade avatar collection and premium theme tomorrow, July 11. Windows PC players can already purchase Quantum Conundrum from leading digital retailers for $14.99 or purchase a Season Pass directly through Steam for $19.99, which includes an exclusive downloadable Quantum Conundrum soundtrack and two future downloadable puzzle packs.
One of the most decorated titles at E3 2012 in June, Quantum Conundrum earned recognition as one of the show’s top games, including 18 media nominations and awards for Best New Franchise, Most Innovative, Best Puzzle Game, Best of Show, Best Platformer, Best Original Game and Most Valuable Game from outlets like IGN, Game Informer, PC Gamer, GameSpy, Destructoid and more. The E3 Game Critics nominated Quantum Conundrum for the Best Downloadable Game and Best Original Game awards.
At GDC last week in San Francisco, Square Enix unveiled more details about the anticipated title, Quantum Conundrum, the new first-person puzzler from Kim Swift and Airtight Games. Attendees had the chance to take control of the game for themselves for the very first time and try to solve dimensional puzzles on their own. They also had the very first look at the newly unveiled in-game dimension: the Heavy dimension.
