Evan is a friend first and foremost, but last year we became co-workers at our day jobs too. Which, is just the coolest thing. It pleases me greatly he’s now a father (to one h*ckin’ cute kid, I might add). I think it’s safe to say 2018’s been good to him, and to games. And after a hiatus of making a list for 2017, he’s back with a surprising amount of games played this year for a new dad.
Well deserved what has been such an amazing game that’s growing and evolving.
Ubisoft announced that new mid-season reinforcements for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege are now available. The update includes major changes to Glaz’s scope, a new Elite Bundle for Twitch, reworked operators and weapon balancing.
I’ve been playing the Rainbow Six series since the originals on PC, they were unlike other games at the time, tactical and meticulously planned. When we got Rainbow Six: Vegas during the last generation, the series took a pleasurable departure from the hardcore, tactical nature that the series was known for. Siege is a return to form for Rainbow Six, but rather focuses solely on competitive multiplayer. I was admittedly apprehensive if this could work, but it works so well that Rainbow Six Siege has become my favorite multiplayer shooter of the year.
