While there hasn’t been any release date set, or even a price. We do know that the bundle will contain The Maw, Splosion Man, Comic Jumper, and Ms. Splosion Man together.
And there’s this cool wallpaper:
Though tragic, the destruction wrought by the escaped sentient plasma known only as Ms. Splosion Man looked to be contained to the lands of XBLA. Big Science picked up the pieces, and that which was once sploded has been rebuilt. Dangers that should never have been forgotten have faded into memory. But today, Twisted Pixel Games announces terrifying news. Ms. Splosion Man survives, and her outbreak will spread further than even the most dire forecasts had predicted, with a splode radius large enough to reach iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices, once thought a safe haven against this agent of devastation.
Reports are trickling in from several sectors, hinting at mutations Ms. Splosion Man has undergone while travelling between the different platforms.
The iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch version sports new features like 6 Splosive Powerups, 1,500 Challenges, and 10 Tiers of Fame, all built on a completely revamped BEARD Engine optimized to bring smooth, fluid movement and control to touch screens. On the Retina Display, Ms. Splosion Man is one of the most visually striking and beautiful platforming games the mobile market has to offer, taking full advantage of the latest hardware. Three exotic worlds, 50 levels of gameplay, and all of the new features are available on the App Store today for $2.99.
Freddy Rodriguez is already well known for his work in films like Planet Terror and television series like Six Feet Under, but every once in a while an actor gets an opportunity to go beyond acting, to play the transcendent role of a generation. In this case, starring as Pablo in the upcoming buddy-comedy video game LocoCycle. DeNiro and Hanks tried desperately to land the role but, in the end, Rodriguez’s moving portrayal of the terrified South American engineer was too powerful to deny. Also, his Spanish was better.
Rodriguez joins Robert Patrick (S.P.I.K.E.) and Lisa Foiles (I.R.I.S.) in telling the tale of an escaped sentient military motorcycle who uses her speed and martial arts to seek freedom in America. I.R.I.S. is attacked at every turn, and her only ally is her mechanic Pablo, whose pants leg gets stuck to her rear axle as she makes her initial escape.
Twisted Pixel will be debuting a new level from LocoCycle at PAX East, revealing more of the interactions between I.R.I.S. and Pablo. Along with showing the two riding and fighting together, the level also showcases Pablo’s ability to repair I.R.I.S. when her lightning-scrambled processor shuts down, as well as featuring some of their more intense action sequences.
THE FUTURE…is here. The Wavy Tube Man Chronicles busts forth today on the Windows Store for Windows 8 PCs and RT tablets. Starring Wiley Wiggins (Dazed and Confused,Waking Life) as Future Buddy and Lloyd Kaufman (The Toxic Avenger, Tromeo and Juliet) as Doc Lloyd, now you can take on the role of The Stranger and make your way through a sleepy little town where all is not what it seems.
Trouble’s a brewin’ in this little slice of the west, and it’s up to you to send that trouble back to whence it came. You’ll need to keep your wits keen and your trigger finger ready to decide who warrants swift cowboy justice with a mere tap of the screen or click of the mouse. Timeless characters, elite acting, crafted dialogue, and action-packed action await you.
One would think that a production of such quality would command a steep price, but we’ve got news for you. Through the magic of digital technology, we’re able to bring this fine production to you for a mere 149 cents (that’s $1.49 American). Kaufman, an expert in all things low-cost says, “Microsoft never returns my calls about letting me direct a Halo movie in New Jersey. But Twisted Pixel brought The Wavy Tube Man Chronicles to Windows 8 as a Trojan horse to get my face in front of Steve Ballmer. Steve, call me!”
There wasn’t much revealed about Twisted Pixel’s new game other than it has something to do with a badass, female, tron like motorcycle named I.R.I.S. More information would be revealed at a later date but all they left us was the E3 reveal trailer that played during Microsoft’s Press Conference. Enjoy the speculating!
