The International Dota 2 Championships being powered by NVIDIA GPU’s and G-SYNC
NVIDIA today announced that GeForce GTX GPUs and G-SYNC monitors have been selected to be the gaming platform in use when the best eSports players from around the world go head-to-head at the International Dota 2 Championships. The tournament boasts a prize pool of over $17 million, the biggest in eSports history, and will be viewed by an online audience of over 20 million viewers. The International takes place from August 3 to August 8, 2015 in Key Arena at Seattle Center.
Only NVIDIA GeForce GTX GPUs and G-SYNC monitors provides eSports players with a gaming platform that delivers the sharper graphics, low latency and high precision that they demand. Cutting-edge NVIDIA G-SYNC display technology means smoother, faster gaming with virtually no tearing, quicker response times with greatly reduced input lag and stutter. In Moba tournaments where the stakes have never been higher and where a dip in performance could make the difference between victory and defeat, NVIDIA arms eSports players with THE competitive edge. NVIDIA has been the gaming platform of choice at the top three global eSports events, including recent League of Legends, Dota 2 and StarCraft II tournaments around the world.
Attendees at The International Dota 2 Championships will also have the opportunity to play Dota 2 on groundbreaking G-SYNC technology and win fun prizes by visiting the NVIDIA booth at the International Dota 2 Championship event.
