STOCKHOLM – Dec. 15, 2021 – Raw Fury, the chaotic-good publisher from Sweden, and developer Anders Lauridsen have announced a partnership to officially release SKALD: Against the Black Priory in late 2022. This nostalgic RPG combines the charm of classic role-playing games with richly illustrated grim-dark fantasy and Lovecraftian horror.
SKALD: Against the Black Priory lets adventurers delve into an elaborate fantasy setting full of horrific monsters and memorable characters. Explore hand-crafted environments and engage in gripping turn-based combat as you unravel SKALD’s sinister secrets through lovingly drawn pixel-art illustrations and multiple-choice dialogues. Despite its nostalgic charm, SKALD: Against the Black Priory is packed with smoothly integrated enhancements and will appeal to RPG fans old and new alike.

The playable prologue of SKALD: Against the Black Priory is available for free on Steam and GOG.com. More information will be revealed by the Bards of Raw Fury in 2022.
