From Press Release:
STOCKHOLM – April 21, 2022 – Gold-digging indie publisher Raw Fury and German dome-engineering developer couple bippinbits are pleased to announce Dome Keeper. This new rogue-lite mining game is based on the successful Ludum Dare Game Jam entry Dome Romantik, improved upon with a new name and enhanced graphics with even more detailed domes and monsters. Dome Keeper is expected to arrive this fall on Windows PC via Steam.
Dome Keeper is a unique rogue-lite mining game in which players battle increasingly powerful waves of shadowy monsters. Between waves, players can mine for resources in the depths beneath to upgrade their dome’s defenses.
“As long-term fans of Raw Fury games, we’re happy to have found the right publisher for Dome Keeper with them,” says bippinbits’ René Habermann. “The team fully understands us, our vision of Dome Keeper, and gives us all the creative freedom and support we need to develop the game.”
“It’s amazing to experience the incredible talent of bippinbits and help them to achieve their visions. The numerous creative Ludum Dare Game Jam submissions speak for themselves and Dome Keeper – for me – marks the pinnacle of creativity from the developer couple so far. We can’t wait to unleash the monsters on players’ domes this autumn,” said Jónas Antonsson, CEO of Raw Fury.
Dome Keeper Features:
- Engaging & Motivating: Easy-to-learn gameplay with many ways to customize your play. Unlock new domes, characters and gadgets as you uncover the mysterious depths beneath your dome.
- Meaningful Upgrades: A straightforward tech tree will challenge you with tough decisions that have a direct impact on your play style and success.
- Deeper & Deeper: Dig down into cave systems between attack waves, searching for valuable resources – but beware, the next wave is on its way!
- Creatively Deadly: Monsters will surprise you with creative tricks to stop your mining operation.
Dome Keeper, the first collaboration between bippinbits and Raw Fury, will be playable in its latest form at PAX East 2022 (Hall B / Booth #15090). For more information, visit https://bippinbits.com.
