From Press Release:

Epsom, UK. September 8th, 2022: Released in June this year, Starship Troopers: Terran Command contributed to the renaissance of the RTS genre. This action-packed strategy game topped the strategy charts on Steam for weeks and sat comfortably in Steam’s top ten for a good part of June and July. With 88% positive reviews, it is also one of the best-rated strategy titles of the year.

Today, Belgian developers The Artistocrats and Slitherine announce the first year’s content roadmap for a game with ambitions to evolve and grow over a long time.

“Starship Troopers: Terran Command has been in development for years before its official release,” said Marco A. Minoli, CMO at Slitherine. “We are pleased that both franchise fans and RTS players like what we’ve produced, but we intend to expand it further, give them more to do and listen to their feedback to improve and broaden the experience.”

Free Updates
Initial free updates will focus on balance and interface improvements. Following that, an update will contain a new, free scenario and a new Federation unit. The next update will bring Achievements and new Challenge missions. This new type of missions will come with a freshly implemented High Score system.

Scenario editor will also be released, allowing players to craft their own maps and scenarios. Finally, a different and new game mode to enhance replayability even further is being worked on and will be released in 2023.

Premium Content
The Artistocrats and Slitherine are planning to release two paid-for DLCs within the first year of release: the first is a mini-Campaign based on challenge missions. A more extensive DLC will follow, with an entire Campaign set in a new environment and featuring additional units.

More details will be announced later this year.
