July 18, 2023 – Hooded Horse is proud to announce that developer Goldhawk Interactive’s highly anticipated sci-fi strategy game Xenonauts 2 is out now in early access. Lead a multinational organization in a coordinated effort to investigate and repel alien activity across the globe by constructing a network of bases, training elite squads to respond to incursions, and uncovering the enemy’s true objectives.
Xenonauts 2 offers complete strategic freedom in how the war progresses. Bases can be constructed anywhere around the globe and specialized in line with the player’s grand strategy. Well-placed listening posts can alert fighter bases to scramble interceptors to shoot down hostile aircraft, which the nearest garrison can investigate. The enemy won’t ignore the Xenonauts either, and they will attempt to seek out and destroy these installations – ensure the most critical are well defended!
The game’s detailed ground-based tactical combat sees a diverse and dangerous cast of alien invaders lurking around every corner, aided by human sympathizers trying to further the enemy’s cause. But fighting the aliens takes place on multiple fronts, with air combat just as crucial as getting boots on the ground.
The game has been localized into the following languages: French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Xenonauts 2 is available in early access for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store for a base price of $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 / ¥4,980, with a 25% launch discount.
