From Press Release:
Face a new Death: The chilling Fear of Death has been completely revamped. It now sports a terrifying new character model, a nasty new weapon, fresh interactable elements, new loots and more. It’s an entirely new way to meet your end: the coffin it spawns swallows units whole.
No turn of peaceful rest: Breaches, portals from beyond, have been introduced. These interdimensional tears spawn the Dreadweavers at the start of every enemy turn (unless a unit blocks the cell). Each Breach will unleash between 3 to 5 total Dreadweavers unless the brave scavenger can successfully close it.
Rescue from certain demise: It’s a set of skilltrees allowing the player to unlock gameplay mechanics enhancements, like additional party, rescued character, Manpower resource and much more.
More Ways to Die and More Tools to Avoid It: To help you deal with the influx of new, unadulterated fear, we’ve packed the update with a wealth of new content:
- Objectives: 3 new objectives to test your mettle.
- Armaments: 6 new weapons to keep the fears at bay.
- Items: 9 new items to scavenge and hoard.
- Sidequests: 3 new sidequests for those who know no peace at night.
And more: the update also includes a round of general balance and optimization for a smoother, though no less terrifying, experience.
Summon your courage: are you brave enough to face a new Death?
