From Press Release:
Toronto, Canada – May 27, 2026 – Cococucumber has launched their sci-fi deckbuilding adventure Echo Generation 2 on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, cloud and day one with Xbox Game Pass. The sequel to the award winning first indie title is now available for USD $24,99 / CAD $29.99 / £22.49, with a time-limited 10% discount (Steam). Echo Generation: Midnight Edition is also available with a 50% discount on Steam and a 70% discount on Xbox.
In Echo Generation 2 players take up the mantle of Jack – ex-special ops turned ordinary family man – who is forced back into the fight when reality begins to collapse. Follow his story, and the stories of five other heroes told through their various points of view, to uncover the mysteries and secrets of the galaxies and its existential threat.
Alongside Jack’s story, the characters-focused chapters include the stories of Annata Z, a mother searching for her child in an industrial wasteland, Noliva and Strix, a bounty hunting duo tearing up missions in a neon cyberpunk city, Bulder, a mischievous creature from another world, and Sister M, a mysterious psychic kid escaping the FST’s scientific experimentation, first introduced as the playable character in the game’s demo.
The turn-based, sci-fi RPG focuses on dynamic deckbuilding combat, guaranteed to help players nuke enemies with powerful card combos and synergies. More than 150 cards are waiting to be discovered and played, ranging from healing and shield buffs, all the way to creative summons at just the right moment. Echo Generation 2 revives an iconic 80s and 90s film-inspired sci-fi vibe, aided by a soaring cosmic soundtrack, and charming but foreboding voxel art style.
Echo Generation 2 is now available on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, cloud and day one with Xbox Game Pass. Players can join the official Discord, follow Cococucumber on Bluesky, X, YouTube, Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook, and visit the official website for more information.
