Dark Point Games unveils new gameplay trailer for Celtic co-op survival crafting Brightfall

From Press Release:

TORUŃ, POLAND, July 8, 2026 — Dark Point Games today released a brand new gameplay trailer for Brightfall, the studio’s upcoming co-op survival-crafting game set on a cursed Celtic island consumed by a living darkness. Marking the first new trailer since the game’s reveal in late 2025, this latest look offers players a deeper glimpse into Brightfall’s survival systems, haunting world, and high-stakes cooperative gameplay ahead of its 2026 release.

In Brightfall, darkness is far more than atmosphere: It is the game’s central threat.

Set on a forgotten island erased from English maps, Brightfall challenges a team of 1 to 4 players to survive against an encroaching force that actively corrupts the world around them. Trees bend into unnatural shapes. Wildlife mutates into hostile creatures. The land itself fights back. Your only real defense is light.

The light from the mysterious Brightheart crystal creates fragile pockets of safety, holding back corruption and preserving your sanity. But light fades quickly, and every expedition beyond the safety of camp becomes a desperate balancing act between risk and survival. As you scavenge resources, craft weapons, and expand your refuge, you and your team will gradually reclaim territory from the darkness, with the influence of the Brightheart expanding its radius as you release ancient Celtic circles from the influence of darkness. As the darkness gets pushed away, safe havens can be established across the island, allowing expeditions to push deeper into increasingly hostile biomes filled with powerful enemies, ancient ruins, devastating bosses, and even elite enemies that will have you running for safety, the first of which debuts in today’s trailer.

The darkness affects the mind as much as the body. Spend too long beyond the safety of the Brightheart, and madness begins to take hold. Allies can lose themselves to the dark, becoming twisted versions of who they once were. Everything comes with a cost, draining the very energy needed to keep your camp alive. Protect your friends, preserve your resources, venture into the unknown, and keep the mysterious source of light alive.

About Dark Point Games

Dark Point Games is a Polish studio made up of industry veterans who decided to create their own company. Founded in 2019 by a group of developers with one shared goal: to create the kind of games they love to play, rich in atmosphere, rooted in ancient myths, and challenging enough to stay with you long after the credits roll. They believe the best legends aren’t told alone. That’s why every idea, patch, and feature comes to life with the help of the community. The team developed the action-packed Achilles: Legends Untold and its spin-off Achilles: Survivor, and is now working on Brightfall, an upcoming co-op open world survival.
