From Press Release:
FRANCE — July 13, 2026 — Agent 64: Spies Never Die, the N64-inspired first-person shooter by solo developer Replicant D6, sneaks onto PC via Steam with a silenced pistol in hand on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026. Console agents will get their chance to emerge from the shadows, guns blazing, post-PC launch — but the precise timing is [CLASSIFIED].
Secret agent John Walter carries an air of debonair and makes saving the world look easy, with hardly a wrinkle in his tuxedo as he foils evildoers’ schemes. Put a stop to the dastardly deeds of John’s evil arch-nemesis, Dominic Pulp, as bullets and secrets collide in a throwback to 64-bit-era shooters, complete with a one-man army or co-op 14-mission Story Campaign.
Embark on an action-packed tale of espionage. Fight armed guards in epic over-the-top shootouts, free civilian hostages, steal secret plans, and don the occasional disguise to sneak past hitmen while completing each mission’s objectives in any order. Conquer high-tension challenges growing in complexity with each difficulty level to unlock new maps and skins.
Hip-fire with hair-trigger reflexes to gun down goons swarming around every corner, or eliminate hired thugs from afar by aiming down the crosshairs. Search for Body Armor to increase health, and take down evil henchmen with powerful weapons, from more conventional armaments like Machine Guns and Remote Mines to futuristic Plasma Rifles.
Hunt each other like Y2K is nigh in high-octane local four-player splitscreen, or mow down up to eight opposing operatives online with up to eight additional bots in classic Deathmatch. Defeat friends in king-of-the-hill-style Zone mode, or Briefcase mode, where secret agents fight to see who can hold classified documents the longest.
Remember when extra modes and cheats were built into the cartridge instead of paid DLC? Relive the glory days of gaming and create custom lobbies with 70+ nostalgic cheats and gritty modifiers like Big Heads, Melee Disarms, slow bullet speeds, and random weapon changes in Paradox Mode.
“Rare’s classic shooters were my favorite games as a child, and there’s so much fun from the N64 era that feels totally forgotten today,” said solo developer Replicant D6. “Agent 64 takes all of the adrenaline-fueled memorable moments from the classics, trims out the limitations, and adds in my inspirations from modern action film classics like John Wick. Gamers who played Rare’s beloved titles will feel immediately at home, and those who haven’t will discover a new love for a benchmark era of gaming they missed out on.”
Agent 64: Spies Never Die delivers deadly judo chops on Tuesday, Aug. 11, on PC via Steam with support for English, French, and Japanese languages. For more information, follow Replicant D6’s channels on Twitter/X and YouTube.
