MicroProse and Wield Interactive are excited to announce that The Fertile Crescent 2: Collapse of the Bronze Age, the official sequel to The Fertile Crescent, will launch in Steam Early Access on August 18.
To celebrate the announcement, a brand-new release date teaser has been unveiled, offering another glimpse into the game’s story-driven RTS experience and the world-spanning collapse awaiting players.
Set during the Late Bronze Age Collapse, The Fertile Crescent 2: Collapse of the Bronze Age combines classic real-time strategy gameplay with a narrative-driven campaign, following a group of warrior-farmers as they struggle to survive the fall of ancient civilizations. Gather resources, build your village, command historically inspired factions, and protect your people as drought, famine, failing trade routes, and the arrival of the mysterious Sea Peoples reshape the known world.
Early Access marks the beginning of the game’s journey, giving players the opportunity to experience its opening campaign, survival-focused RTS gameplay, and evolving world while development continues, with community feedback helping shape future updates.
