Montréal, August 25, 2026 – The hunt begins today. Panache Digital Games has launched 1666: Amsterdam in Early Access on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store for $29.99 USD.
Following its appearance at Opening Night Live, 1666: Amsterdam enters Early Access alongside an all-new Launch Trailer, offering a new look at the gameplay, world, characters, and mystical forces players will encounter in Amsterdam.
Early Access begins with the players
Today marks the beginning of 1666: Amsterdam‘s Early Access journey.
Panache Digital Games will continue developing the game throughout Early Access, with player feedback helping the team identify what works, what needs improvement, and where the experience should go next.
Players are encouraged to share their experiences, feedback, and discoveries directly with the development team through the official Panache Discord community.
Every name. Every debt.
Amsterdam is a city built on wealth, power, and sheer will, but beneath its streets lies a force it did not forge.
Entities known as The Originals have lived for centuries, granted time, power, and the freedom to abuse both. Now, that power is owed.
Players step into the role of Noa Brooklyn, born the Collector and raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose: taking that power back.
By day, players investigate a handcrafted Amsterdam, searching for the Originals hidden behind human faces. Identify them. Track them. Mark them.
When night falls and the Esbat begins, the hunt changes. The Originals reveal their true forms, and Noa must use witchcraft, spellcasting, strategy, and everything she has learned to confront them and collect what is owed.
Switch between Noa and Aaron
Noa does not investigate Amsterdam alone.
Aaron, summoned from 1999, now experiences the world through the eyes of a cat. Players can switch between Noa and Aaron, using two radically different playstyles to investigate the city, uncover hidden paths, and approach their targets in different ways.
One wields witchcraft. The other has four paws and flair.
Enter Amsterdam
As 1666: Amsterdam is launching in Early Access, the game is still in active development and does not represent the final version. We are therefore not seeking scored reviews at this stage, but welcome previews, impressions, features, guides, videos, and other editorial coverage.
