We’ve got a fun drop for Halloween this year, and it’s not your usual pumpkin skin or timely ghost appearance… how about a new trailer from the minds that brought you Astartes and Star Wars 212!?
Overhype Studios has partnered with Syama Pedersen and Hoplite VFX to create a full cinematic trailer for MENACE, our upcoming sci-fi tactics game which had a demo in Steam Next Fest earlier this month (and still available to play now, if you haven’t tried it yet!). See Republic Marines and Pirates clash in a derelict factory, before the dead on both sides get absorbed and repurposed by the insidious lifeform plaguing the Wayback system.
Syama Pedersen is the director, known for his work on the Warhammer 40K fan series “Astartes”, and contributing to the “And They Shall Know No Fear” episode of Amazon’s Secret Level anthology. Hoplite VFX, creators of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars fan video Star Wars 212, produced the trailer.
This trailer marks the first time we’ve seen the terrifying titular enemy in action since the original announcement, and is a great visual feast for those who’ve been wanting more from this sci-fi universe.
