Minecraft Dungeons II announced at Minecraft LIVE, and it’s coming this year

From Press Release:

The first Minecraft LIVE of 2026 just wrapped, and it included several major reveals across the Minecraft universe.

Minecraft Dungeons II announced
The next chapter of the action RPG arrives this fall. Minecraft Dungeons II introduces new locations, enemies, and high-stakes encounters across the Minecraft universe. Minecraft Dungeons II will be included in Xbox Game Pass, and is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC later this year. The game is now available to wishlist here.

Minecraft World theme park land revealed
Mojang Studios and Merlin Entertainments announced Minecraft World, the franchise’s first theme park experience. The land will debut at Chessington World of Adventures in Greater London in 2027, bringing Minecraft environments and gameplay-inspired adventures to life.

New game drops coming to Minecraft
Two major game drops are on the way:

  • Tiny Takeover arrives March 24 across all platforms with redesigned baby mobs, new baby variants, and new items including the Golden Dandelion and craftable nametags.
  • Chaos Cubed arriving later in 2026, introducing sulfur caves and the sulfur cube, our new mob. Unlike any other mob in the game, it can absorb blocks! And its attributes change depending on what it’s consumed.

And also: Minecraft Experience expands globally
Minecraft LIVE also revealed Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail, a new outdoor nighttime interactive adventure debuting in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where players will explore Minecraft biomes, craft gear, mine resources, and battle mobs along a real-world forest trail.

You can watch the full Minecraft LIVE show on-demand here and read the complete recap on Minecraft.net.
