During the Gearbox Panel at PAX East today, 2K and Gearbox announced that the fourth add-on content pack for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Claptastic Voyage and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 is coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on March 24th. Like all Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Season Pass content, Claptastic Voyage and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 will also be included in Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 24th in North America and March 27th internationally.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel’s second batch of add-on content, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack: The Holodome Onslaught, is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Steam on December 16th alongside a free update that adds a third playthrough for everyone enjoying the game!
Starting on November 11, you’ll be able to pick up the Handsome Jack Doppelganger Pack for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or Steam, allowing you to play as the charming head of the Hyperion Corporation for the first time (or at least someone who looks an awful lot like him).
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel takes place between the events Borderlands and Borderlands 2. It’s a standalone title that does not ever set foot on the well-known planet of Pandora. This helps distinguish it from the prior games, as it introduces new elements but doesn’t do a whole lot else with the formula to stand out as a true successor. But that said, this FPS/Action RPG hybrid still manages to scratch that loot itch that proves so powerful for the series to where it is difficult for me to stop playing.
Today, 2K and Gearbox announced their plans to support Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel with four add-on content packs following the release of the game on October 14th in North America and October 17th internationally. The four add-on content packs will encompass new characters, missions, and experiences, and each pack will retail for $9.99.
Today, 2K and Gearbox Software announced Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, an all-new standalone Borderlands game set in-between the award-winning Borderlands and Borderlands 2. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel launches players to Pandora’s moon for the very first time offering low-gravity gunfights while playing as four new playable characters contributing to the rise of Handsome Jack.
