A decade ago, Nival cemented itself as a leader in strategy gaming with the launch of its now-classic Blitzkrieg series, which has won more than forty awards, including numerous Game of the Year and Editor’s Choice accolades. Today, Nival unveils Blitzkrieg 3, the next title in the acclaimed series, coming to PC and Mac in early 2015. Blitzkrieg 3 paints a realistic picture of World War II – away from the realm of politics or ideology, focused on the battles that ultimately shaped the world we live in today.
Nival has announced beta registrations for their role-playing strategy game Prime World. To get early access to Prime World, please visit http://playpw.com/en and click “Join the beta” in the upper left.
Prime World merges MOBA battles, persistent RPG hero development and castle building. You can equip and train your hero between battles using collectible and upgradable talents, build a thriving economy in your city, and play together with your friends. You can even start your own clan and fight other clans!
Prime World steps beyond the classic three lane map of modern MOBAs – there are currently six game modes, with more to come: from fast and fierce 3v3 Outpost to dark and moody 4v4 Dragonwald.
[box_light]Prime World is more than a game in its country of origin. In Russia, several books based on Prime World have been published, some from best-selling authors Vadim Panov and Alexander Zorich. Over three million gamers have enjoyed Prime World’s battles in Russia since April 2012 and it continues to grow.[/box_light]

On March 28, 2003, Moscow based Nival released the first Blitzkrieg game. The work of a team of one hundred people, it became a landmark in the real-time strategy and World War II gaming, with its focus on historical accuracy with fast gameplay.
This original Blitzkrieg became the foundation for more than twenty commercial games from other developers, many diving even deeper into the greatest battles of WW2. From the sprawling and bloody turning point of Stalingrad to the exhausting and frozen Talvisota on the Finnish front, developers and fans have used the Blitzkrieg games as the starting point for vivid game-based portrayals of history’s greatest conflict. Even today, countless user mods are being developed and improved – a decade long community project that is a point of pride for Nival and the Blitzkrieg team.
To celebrate Blitzkrieg’s ten year anniversary, both Blitzkrieg Anthology and Blitzkrieg 2: Anthology are being discounted 60% on GOG.com until March, 31st.
Ten years is a natural moment to celebrate a landmark in game history, but this is not simply living in the past. For the Blitzkrieg series, this is just a beginning…
Nival is happy to announce a tablet version of “King’s Bounty: Legions”, a cross-platform online turn-based strategy game that has topped the charts at Kongregate and built a loyal audience on Facebook.
If there’s one thing everyone agrees on regarding “Prime World”, it’s that it has some of the most colorful hero design you’ll find in any battle arena or action strategy game. The first Hero announcement this past spring introduced unique faction characters as well as a surfing embodiment of lightning and other out-of-the-ordinary Heroes that you will control in “Prime World”.
Now Nival is announcing the second batch of Heroes, each available to both factions but under different names:
“Prime World” is now in open beta in Russia and will soon be coming to North America, with new game modes, a castle management system to help you upgrade your heroes and connections to Prime World titles on other platforms.
