Major Update for sci-fi grand strategy Early Access hit Terra Invicta brings an overhauled UI and introduces exofighters today
From Press Release:
April 2, 2025 – If defending the Solar System against an overwhelming alien force wasn’t hard enough, Hooded Horse and Pavonis Interactive’s sci-fi grand strategy game Terra Invicta cranks things up a notch as it deploys a new major content update.
It seems war does change, as patch 0.4.78 introduces new content across the board – the aliens step things up with new classes of warships, while human factions have access to new orbital fighters, new councilor types, and better options for managing their fleets. There’s been a ton of quality-of-life improvements as well, with an overhauled UI, new options for national priority management, plenty of balancing work, and countless bug fixes, to name but a few.
Headline features of patch 0.4.78 include:
- New human Exofighter units for low orbit engagements
- Titan & Lancer-class hulls for the aliens
- UI overhauls, especially for ship design and tech tree interfaces
- Fleet management improvements, including Officer transfers and ship formation controls
- Two new councilor types – the Attorney and the Engineer, along with 35 new traits
- Significant AI aggression and balance changes, including the human AI leading to more varied early-game scenarios
- New national priorities, as well as the ability to develop core economic, oil, and mining regions
- Bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and more!
Terra Invicta is available via Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 / ¥4,980. It is also available for PC Game Pass via game preview. A press kit is available.
