OAKLAND, CA — March 20, 2026 — CI Games today announced that its dark fantasy action-RPG, Lords of the Fallen (2023), has sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide, officially breaking even at the end of February on a total budget of 298 million Polish złoty ($80.45 million, based on current exchange rates), including development and marketing.
Following more than 70 post-launch updates, the game surpassed 2 million units sold in August 2025. This momentum was further strengthened by the release of Version 2.5 in December 2025 — the final major update — which introduced a new Veteran Mode and enhanced enemy encounters across the entire game, delivering a more demanding and refined experience.

The announcement follows news earlier this week that CI Games secured an additional $19 million in investor funding, which will be used to diversify distribution channels of Lords of the Fallen II. Recently released alpha footage of the sequel — showcasing faster, more aggressive combat — has already received widespread praise.
Built on Unreal Engine 5, Lords of the Fallen II is set to launch later this year on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Lords of the Fallen (2023) is currently available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, the PlayStation®5 system, and the Xbox Series X|S console systems.
