May 25, 2026 – Indie studio Conradical Games (Desktop Defender, The Outbound Ghost) has just announced that Wanted Shadows: Unchained is releasing on June 8th 2026 on Steam!
The game will also launch at a later date on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Owners of the original 2023 Wanted Shadows on Steam will get 50% off Unchained via a Steam bundle at release.

Wanted Shadows: Unchained is a standalone reimagining of 2023’s Wanted Shadows. It’s rebuilt from the ground up with compact arenas, a deepened progression system, and a hub that expands the game’s world.
