Attempt to survive the sea – and each other – in SHORE, a sea-faring co-op adventure making a splash on PC later this year

From Press Release:

Paris, France (July 28, 2026) – Grab your paddles, friends, and try not to throw each other overboard in SHORE, from solo developer Underdog. Making a surprise reveal today, SHORE is a 1–4 player physics-driven co-op adventure that has already earned over half a million views on social media where players must work together to survive a dangerous journey across an unforgiving ocean to get back to civilization. Coming to PC via Steam in 2026, SHORE combines cooperative survival, physics-based rafting, and open-ended exploration as players battle the sea, discover mysterious islands, and fight to find their way home. https://store.steampowered.com/app/4280880/SHORE

Embrace the chaos of an unpredictable sea and try not to get your friends killed as you fumble your way across the treacherous ocean. Each adventure begins on what appears to be a peaceful island getaway until a volcanic eruption tears the island apart, forcing players onto a small wooden raft with little more than a few paddles, a handful of supplies, and each other. With civilization somewhere beyond the horizon, the players must embark on a desperate race across unpredictable waters where teamwork is the only thing keeping everyone alive.

Your raft is both your greatest tool and your biggest liability. Fully driven by physics, every wave rocks the deck, every shift in weight changes its balance, and every current threatens to send the crew off course. Staying afloat means coordinating every paddle stroke while trying not to launch your friends overboard. Unless someone isn’t pulling their weight — in that case, feed them to the sharks.

The ocean is filled with opportunities, but also dangers. From abandoned islands and drifting wreckage to unpredictable waters and mysterious landmarks, every stop along the journey offers valuable resources at a cost. Players must work together to decide which risks are worth taking as they chart a course back to civilization.

“The ocean is dangerous, but your friends usually make things worse,” said Underdog. “Whether you’re arguing over which direction to paddle, scrambling to save someone who fell overboard, or risking everything to investigate something on the horizon, SHORE is all about creating those unforgettable moments that only happen when you’re playing together.”

SHORE has been built almost entirely in public, with the game’s development logs generating more than 600,000 views and inspiring over 2,000 community feature requests in the past month alone. Community feedback has played a significant role in shaping the game’s direction from its earliest stages and will continue to play a vital role post-launch.

SHORE will launch on PC via Steam later this winter. Players can wishlist the game now and follow development through the game’s official social channels on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord and Facebook.
