Ghostbusters Review

There’s nothing more concerning than the release of a videogame around the release of a motion picture film. It feels like a quick cash-in and usually leads to a major letdown as either the game replicates the events of the movie. Ghostbusters however, goes in a unexpected direction, going for all-new characters with seemingly no tie-ins to any movie, past or present. The experience, while it is entertaining early on, quick fades into a dull-drum wade through repetition and boredom.

Activision Publishing, Inc. and Sony Pictures Consumer Products have revealed a new compilation for the upcoming Ghostbusters video game and film. The Ghostbusters Ultimate Bundle will launch on July 12 for SRP $64.99 on the PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Network in North America, as well as in select regions on Xbox One through the Xbox Games Store.

Activision Publishing, Inc., in collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, has announced a pair of new Ghostbusters video games set in and inspired by the comedic action world of the upcoming Ghostbusters film, in theaters July 15. Taking place after the events of the new movie, both Ghostbusters games introduce new casts of rookies keeping watch over the station while the now-famous Ghostbusters tour the country stopping high-profile poltergeists. When paranormal phenomena unleash apparitions across New York City, these new squads of recruits must don their proton packs and wrestle those rogue spirits back to the afterlife!
