Ynglet, the solo developed platformerless platformer is available today with new content for both Xbox and PC

From Press Release:

August 10, 2022 – Triple Topping has announced that Ynglet has launched globally on Xbox One today for US $4.99.

The launch on Xbox One brings additional content to the game, including a Bonus World, which contains 8 new levels. New variations of the music is also included, as well as an unlockable secret which you get for completing the Story World in Negative Mode. The additional content is coming to PC and Mac as a content update, also available from August 10.

“I’m excited that Ynglet will be released on Xbox! It was very fun digging back into the game again and making new levels and music for it, and I hope you’ll like the new stuff I added.” said Nicklas ‘Nifflas’ Nygren, the solo developer of Ynglet.

Ynglet received an honourable mention from the 2021 Independent Game Festival Awards for Excellence in Design.

Released on PC in June 2021, Ynglet is a platformer with no platforms. Playing as a jellyfish-like creature, you jump between floating bubbles, in search of your friends separated by a comet. The hand drawn art style of Ynglet takes an illustrated approach, reminiscent of expressive doodles come to life.

Melt into a highly reactive and dynamic soundtrack created by Ynglet’s custom music software. The soundtrack is integrated with the game, meaning the player’s actions constantly change the music on the fly, and the soundtrack is different for every player.
