From recent improvements such as the introduction of small airfields and earthquakes to the upcoming introduction of the game’s official campaign, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic continues to improve and offer the ultimate economic city-building experience where players have complete control over the economy, capabilities, and layout of a glorious new nation-state.
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic features a sophisticated web of economic and industrial systems that allow players to fully plan their economies in the ultimate city-building sandbox. Develop local resources to feed intricate production chains that in turn interact with a simulated global economy, where outside factors will influence the price of goods and services across a playthrough. Players can build a network of interconnected cities across an entire region and grow their nation into an industrial superpower.
The dedicated campaign will act as the new official tutorial for the game, putting players in the shoes of a recently elected official of a fledgling ex-Soviet republic. Ministers from various fields of expertise will be on hand to help players build up the foundations of a new city, establish core industrial and agricultural capabilities, and ensure the long-term prosperity of the state and its people. The first two parts will be ready for testing in the next few weeks, before releasing towards the end of January, while the third part of the campaign is due later in 2024.
