January 26, 2024 – The glorious publishing house of the Hooded Horse is pleased to declare that the latest update for 3DIVISION’s complex city-building game Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is out now. This patch introduces the first two missions of the dedicated campaign, which is a crucial step in its journey towards 1.0 later this year.
The campaign acts as the official tutorial for the game, putting players in the shoes of a recently elected official of a fledgling ex-Soviet republic. Ministers from various fields of expertise are on hand to help players build up the foundations of a new city, establish core industrial and agricultural capabilities, and ensure the long-term prosperity of the state and its people. The third act of the campaign is due later this year.
Other features of the update include additional default maps, additional vehicles and decorations, some graphical upgrades, and the usual round of bug fixing, tweaks, and quality-of-life improvements. You can read the full patch notes here.
This game offers a sophisticated web of economic and industrial systems that allow players to plan their economies in minute detail, representing the ultimate city-building sandbox. It is due to leave early access in 2024.
