Deep Rock Galactic kicks off its 7th Anniversary Event and releases Skullcrusher DLC today

Deep Rock Galactic will be turning seven years old this month! To celebrate nearly a decade of dwarven job security, from now until 13 March, miners can dive into an array of in-game festivities to mark the occasion.

As a “thank you” for all the hard work put in over the past year, Deep Rock Galactic is offering as much free Oily Oaf Brew, Glyphid Slammer and Leaf Lover’s Special as one can handle. This bottomless beer can be enjoyed in a recently redecorated Space Rig, before the celebration continues. Further non-alcoholic anniversary additions to the game include a new cosmetic DLC, a special assignment offering a limited edition party hat, and a double performance point bonus.

  • The new Skullcrusher DLC gives miners a glimpse into the historic Skullcrusher clan. This ancestral armor echoes the call of the warhorn, waiting to be worn once more – it would be a real shame not to.

Workers deep in the Hoxxes IV mines need to stay alert and look out for the hidden Year 7 Anniversary Trophy. Once deposited, they can rake in the double XP from the mission. Maybe a beer could help the miners stay alert?

  • To celebrate the decline in beer-related deaths – as seen in the 2024 company review -dwarves have been given free beer for the entirety of the anniversary celebration!
