Trials Evolution is a sequel to 2009’s Trials HD, which just about set the world on fire with it’s addictive gameplay and constant competition among friends and strangers. It revitalized and created importance for the usage of leaderboards. Trials Evolution brings a new set of matches to start that fire all over again.
Today, Ubisoft and RedLynx announced that Trials Evolution, the follow-up to the widely popular Trials HD, will be available tomorrow on the Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment for 1200 Microsoft Points.
Trials Evolution builds on the successes of Trials HD, offering all-new single player tracks and mini games, real-time multiplayer both live and online, and extensive editing tools. In Trials Evolution, RedLynx has broken the series free of the enclosed warehouse into a huge outdoor world, with curved driving lines and stunning open vistas.

A few weeks ago we revealed the Inside Xbox segment regarding Trials Evolution. Today, RedLynx (redlynx.com) released the first, full gameplay trailer for its hotly anticipated Xbox LIVE Arcade game, Trials Evolution. The trailer features the extensive single player gameplay and the jaw-dropping multiplayer that has made this successor to Trials HD one of the most eagerly awaited games of the year.
The trailer features the extremely powerful in-game editor included in the game and shows tantalizingly glimpses of some of the amazing things player will be able to create with it, and share with the whole world. The trailer also reveals that Trials Evolution will be released this Spring. A more specific release date will be announced after the game enters certification and gets closer to launch.

The talented team over at Inside Xbox got a sneak peek at Trials Evolution from RedLynx. While showing gameplay, Inside Xbox got to interview Jason Bates to discuss the changes (and what hasn’t changed) to Trials Evolution:
No RedLynx staff will be on hand to laugh at your Spider-Man cosplay efforts, but feel free to hang around the Microsoft booth and talk about Trials Evolution with everyone who walks by. Beginning at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 13th and running through the weekend of Sunday, October 16th, you will be able to play Trials Evolution hands-on in the Microsoft booth, with the very same build those lucky people at PAX got to play earlier this year.
Complete instructions on how to get there, where it is, what booth the game is in can be found on the New York Comic Con website.
In other Trials news, Trials HD is available for only 600 points on virtually all Xbox LIVE marketplaces this weekend. This special offer is available only through October 3.
Did you think that RedLynx was done pumping out games with the recent release of DrawRace 2? Well think again, now the team behind Trials and DrawRace is bringing an other new title and now it’s for WiiWare. The game promises to have a solid single player as well as a really enjoyable multiplayer. You will have plenty of tracks to race on since the game has over a hundred courses to race in. The game will have three game modes for you to mess around in. This is one of the only WiiWare games that looks like it’s actually going to be good. So if I were you, I would definitely go and pick up this gem on the fifteenth of this month.

So I wrote the article following a press release that I received yesterday concerning the tentative release date of the game. So I was surprised to see this afternoon when I was checking my email that they have sent an other press release saying that the game has been released today. So go onto your iOS devices and go download this great game. The game is priced at a very reasonable price at 0.99$. So there is no excuse for you guys to go and pick it up.
From the guys who brought to us DrawRace on iOS and Trials HD on Xbox 360, are bringing us a sequel to their very popular game DrawRace and now it has a tentative release date. So instead of downloading some stupid fart app or sex position app, grab DrawRace 2 in September of this year. That’s right, the game is ready to come out very soon. The game still does not have a price but I’m sure that it will be very comparable to its predecessor.
To get pumped up for the release of the game the guys at RedLynx have released a brand new trailer:

The last time we saw anything on Trials Evolution, it was E3 and we only got a glipse of the action. Now more information has been released and those of you attending either Gamescom or PAX, will be able to get your hands on it for yourself!
The special preview builds that will be shown are only a taste of the entire offering yet to come.
“This is the biggest game RedLynx has ever done, and one of the most ambitious downloadable console games ever,” said Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director of RedLynx. “The things that can be done with just the editor will astound long-time fans of the series. I can’t wait to see what the community will be able to create!”
In addition to presenting Trials Evolution at Gamescom, Creative Director Antti Ilvessuo will also appear at the Xbox VIP Community panel on Wednesday, August 17 at 15:30 in the afternoon.
RedLynx is proud to announce that Trials Evolution has partnered with KX energy drink. KX is currently involved with the KX Urban Thrills Tour, an adrenaline-fueled trials bike experience featuring 6 of the UK’s top trials bike riders. More on the KX Urban Thrills Tour can be found on their Facebook page: facebook.com/kxenergy
As part of the sponsorship, gamers will enjoy special KX energy drink themed objects and customizations in the full release of Trials Evolution. RedLynx is very excited to be partnering with a brand that shares the same passion for Trials, as well as the same sense of fun.
All of this is shaping to be very exciting. Here is the E3 trailer.
The idea of 1000 Heroz intrigued me right off the bat – new content every day for the next 1000 days? Sounds tough to beat! When the offer to review 1000 Heroz hit my inbox, I couldn’t resist but start playing it. What I found was a simple, yet fun game, that kept me starting it up daily to see what new hero was awaiting.
RedLynx (redlynx.com) today announced Trials Evolution for Xbox LIVE Arcade, the follow-up to its best-selling, critically acclaimed hit, Trials HD.
“Trials Evolution is more than just a sequel to Trials HD,” said Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director of RedLynx. “We listened carefully to all the feedback we received from the previous game and added it to our own vision of what the ultimate Trials game could be, coming up with a gamer’s wish list of must-play features.” He promised more details would be revealed in the future.
The game announcement was accompanied by a teaser trailer, available on the Xbox LIVE Arcade dashboard, Spike TV, and other outlets, just prior to its announcement. The teaser offers a brief glimpse of the Trials action to come.

“Including the base game and both DLCs, Trials HD has sold more than two million copies since its release, making it one of the best-selling games on Xbox LIVE Arcade of all time,” said Tero Virtala, CEO of RedLynx. “And most importantly has also maintained a Metacritic score of 86 since its release among critics, and an even more generous 90 amongst gamers.”
“All these factors, including awards such as Best Nordic Game of 2010, Best Finnish Game of 2010, and Best Download of 2009 as voted by the Xbox LIVE Arcade community, made another Trials game something we really wanted to do,” Virtala said. “But we took our time in carefully planning and developing it before announcing it, because we wanted to do it right.”
Trials Evolution is expected to launch on Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE Arcade service in 2011.
Giant Ball…of money!
Trials HD was easily one of my favorite XBLA games from Xbox’s “Summer of Arcade” back in 2009. It provided a lot of fun and challenge, and with quick reload times it was easy to keep trying and waste hours and hours. RedLynx (redlynx.com) announced today that Trials HD, its award-winning motorcycle stunts game for Xbox LIVE Arcade, has surpassed the two million units sold mark across the base game and both DLCs.
“It’s been a little more than a year and a half since Trials HD was released,” said Tero Virtala, CEO of RedLynx. “For a digitally downloaded game, this is a significant milestone, and shows one of the many ways the digital space is quickly growing and the industry itself is changing and evolving.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the success, and we’d like to thank all our fans for their continuous support and enthusiasm for our game.”
Gamers and journalists alike have been asking what’s next for the Trials franchise, and with this latest milestone achievement questions are likely to form again, but so far the developer has declined to divulge its next move.
“Naturally we are quite pleased with the success of Trials HD, but the most important thing for us is to continue making excellent games that other gamers will like,” said Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director of RedLynx. “Whatever the future holds remains to be seen, but currently we have six teams working on six games, so I can guarantee there are other great RedLynx games in the works.
“Other than that, I must remain silent. It is the Finnish way. That, and sitting in a stiflingly hot sauna during midsummer without saying a word. That is the Finnish way.”
We know what Microsoft’s secret deal is on Friday: It’s Trials HD and the Big Thrills DLC!
RedLynx announced today that Trials HD, the award-winning Xbox LIVE Arcade title, will be available for 600 points on Friday, April 15. The full game is normally available for 1200 points.
In addition, Trials HD – Big Thrills, the action-packed second DLC for the game, will be offered at only 200 points from now until April 18, instead of at its normal 400 points. The special reductions are part of a Microsoft Game Studio special program, and will be in place worldwide.
“Spring is coming, which in Finland is the traditional season of purchasing challenging, competitive Xbox LIVE Arcade titles,” said Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director of RedLynx. “It is a time of rebirth and renewal, and crushing new Trials HD tracks with amazing runs.”

We’ve given away DLC, announced the Triple Pack, and talked about this phenominal game a lot. This Friday is a great deal (50% off for crying out loud) for the game and DLC, I suggest you get on it. It’ll be a ONE DAY deal for the game.
Back in February, we hinted at a possible RedLynx title for iOS. Well it turns out to be true! And looks very exciting. Trailer at the bottom.
1000 Heroz, an original game for iPhone and iPad. With a unique mixture of platforming and racing, the game offers you something new to discover every day – for 1000 days.
Every 24 hours, you will take control of a new hero and embark on a treasure hunt through history. In total, there will be 1000 heroes to guide, 1000 levels to explore and 1000 relics to gather. The previous levels remain playable, and you can go through them to gather gold and relics for your Hall of Records.
“We’ve designed 1000 Heroz to last for a thousand days, so whether you play every day or play only occasionally, there’s always something new for you,” said Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director of RedLynx. “It’s a new idea, where you can get your daily dose of Heroz right from the start.”
In addition to finding relics, you can also take part in daily time-based challenges. Each level will have its own Leader Boards, so there will be intense competition every single day. You can also create a Custom League to challenge your friends.
“1000 Heroz has some of the physics-based timing of Trials with the jumping of a Mario-type game,” Ilvessuo said. “Your character really runs with their feet. It’s a blast to play every day.”
Originally teased as a mysterious game that lasts a thousand days, a new trailer has been released showing actual gameplay footage on RedLynx TV. You can also follow @1000Heroz on Twitter for updates.
1000 Heroz is currently slated for an April release. The iPhone version will be priced at $0.99, and the iPad version will launch at $1.99.
