The easiest way for people to share their favorite gaming moments just got easier. Today, Forge announced its new livestreaming feature with Twitch and YouTube integration, enabling gamers to broadcast their gameplay on their favorite streaming platforms without additional hardware. The app is available to download for free for Windows PC at http://forge.gg/streaming.
Forge, which launched its public beta in February, is a simple way for everyday PC gamers to connect and share gameplay. The app instantly and automatically records the user’s session once a game is launched and runs quietly in the background. Just one keystroke enables the user to broadcast their gameplay live to their connected Twitch or YouTube channel. The stream is also embedded on the user’s Forge profile until they are finished.
Key Features

System and network auto-detection to optimize your game session for livestreaming

“Our mission at Forge is to make sharing moments from games as simple as possible,” said Jared Kim, CEO and Founder at Forge. “Many gamers that want to get started with livestreaming are often confused by the many technical hurdles involved in setup. Forge livestreaming transforms that process–which typically requires following pages of tutorials–into a single keystroke.”
In addition to livestreaming, players can seamlessly clip and share short-form gaming videos to the Forge network and other popular platforms like Twitter without exiting their game. Last month, the company announced that it raised $4.5 million in seed financing led by True Ventures and Resolute Ventures.
