Set sail for pirate-themed city-builder Corsair Cove from Limbic Entertainment and Hooded Horse

From Press Release:

April 17, 2026 – Build a sprawling pirate haven, raise a fleet to explore the high seas, and take on the Crown to keep the Age of Piracy alive in Hooded Horse and Limbic Entertainment’s new upcoming city-building game, Corsair Cove!

Announced during the Find Your Next Game CAGGTUS Showcase, players will manage complex production chains and govern a rowdy crew in a city-builder that’s all about building tall and overcoming the challenges of limited building space. Build on cliffs and hill tops to manufacture everything from spyglasses to cannons to meet the needs of your population. But don’t count on this being a peaceful pirate paradise – players will also need to equip mighty ships of war that can take to the high seas and fight back against pirate hunters, resist agents of the Crown, and uncover mysterious dangers that lurk in uncharted waters.

Key elements of Corsair Cove include:
  • Develop a deserted island into a pirate fortress, building up the cliffs and onto the hills to make the most of the space provided.
  • Use bridges, ziplines, elevators, and more to efficiently move goods from one place to another as part of complex, sprawling production chains for over 50 types of goods!
  • Entice more pirates to come live in the settlement, ensuring their needs are met, from ale and clothing to eye-patches and sabers.
  • Construct and equip powerful ships of war to explore the seas around the island, as well as defend it from the Crown looking to crash the party.
  • Engage in quests and develop society along the four compass points of Notoriety, Empire, Seafaring, and Wealth. Each unlocking unique missions, buildings, and ships!
By hook or by crook, keep the Golden Age of Piracy alive for as long as possible!
