It’s not often you find budget-priced items that work on par with more mainstream equipment. The Maono AU-HD300T Cardioid Mic is one such example of this diamond in the rough. With excellent sound, an inexpensive cost, and just about everything you need in the box, Maono makes this a deal that is hard to pass up.

Pupperazzi Review

Jan 20, 2022

I. Love. Dogs. I’m constantly taking pictures of them: my dogs, my family’s dogs, my friend’s dogs, dogs dogs dogs. So when I heard there was a game in development where the goal was to take photos of all sorts of doggos, I nearly jumped out of my seat! Pupperazi tasks you with exploring small stages in the pursuit of capturing the best pictures of the local pups. Along the way, you’ll see fun dogs, tired dogs, excited dogs, playful dogs, costumed dogs, and so much more.

Epic Chef Review

Dec 30, 2021

Epic Chef looked like a game that would tickle my fancy. It’s a cooking-focused game composed of farm sim-ing, a dash of Iron Chef cooking battles, and crafting. So imagine tossing Stardew Valley, Battle Chef Brigade, and Minecraft into a stand mixer. The resulting batter is Epic Chef. The game is quite a fun experience out of the oven, but it’s not one without some faults; it’s still a fun experience nonetheless.

Date Night Bowling Review

Dec 27, 2021

You got your dating sim in my bowling game, no you got your bowling game in my dating sim! Date Night Bowling is a nifty combo of an arcade bowling title mashed up with some dating sim elements that end up feeling too light on content.

The Jackbox Party Pack 8 Review

Dec 07, 2021

The Jackbox Party games have been around for a few years now, and each numbered edition has been a banger for parties, hangouts, sleepovers, and streams. The games don’t rest on their laurels either, each Party Pack has tried something new in addition to keeping something familiar, and in Party Pack 8, Jackbox Games Inc. has succeeded once again.

Unpacking Review

Dec 01, 2021

Most of us have moved at some point in our lives, and I’m sure we’re all in agreeance that between packing and unpacking, the most enjoyable of the two is the unpacking. Well, Developers Witch Beam has taken that concept and crafted it into a fun game that scratches that lizard-brain itch for organization and subtly tells a lovely story along the way.

NASCAR 21: Ignition Review

Nov 18, 2021

The heat has been shut off on this year’s NASCAR title, and in its place is a fresh start for developer Motorsport Games. So it’s fitting that this year’s title is now called Ignition, but is this a strong enough debut to get things rolling, or does this one fail to turn over? Like all things in life, this one is a little of both.

To The Rescue! Review

Nov 01, 2021

I love dogs; that’s it for the review. This game is dog-focused, and I love dogs. Hold on; our Editor-in-Chief is telling me that I need to elaborate. Ok, fine, Scott, here goes: To the Rescue is a fun take on a management sim where you’re running a dog shelter. Dogs come in; you place them in safe and spacious crates, take care of their needs, and offer potential adopters the choice of pet friends to take home. The game can get chaotic at times, but it will satisfy that management itch if you have one Satisfying like a good head scratch.

Pumpkin Jack (PS5) Review

Oct 25, 2021

Pumpkin Jack was released back in 2020 on PC and previous-gen consoles. This New-Gen edition freshens up the ole Pumpkinhead to better suit the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Scott reviewed this game last year on the PC, and you can read his impressions here.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Review

Oct 25, 2021

Marvel has a vast roster of heroes, and in the video game space, we’ve mostly stuck to those here on Earth. With Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Eidos-Montréal is taking us for a ride into the cosmic parts of the Marvel Universe. But with Square-Enix’s own Marvel’s The Avengers encountering mixed feelings since launch, a shadow looms over the Guardians title. Let me shine some light and ease some concerns; Guardians has NO multiplayer and has NO live space. What it does have is exceptional storytelling and gameplay that works well with the team aspect.

Gas Station Simulator Review

Oct 21, 2021

Gas Station Simulator is exactly what it says in the title. You’re operating a gas station. As with many others in the simulator genre, it takes the idea of running a mundane, daily activity and trying to get some entertainment out of it. Gas Station Simulator does a great job of blending in some engaging mechanics and a gameplay loop that kept me playing through multiple sessions for hours.

Lake Review

Oct 14, 2021

Lake is a relaxing breath of fresh air in a saturated market of tense-filled, stress-inducing, action entertainment. Completing the simple tasks they ask of you, delivering the mail is so peaceful and soothing. But along your journey to finish this game, you get to learn more about this little town and your character Meredith Weiss.
